As of summer 2004, TCSSC will be implementing our proprietary
TEAM (Total Enrollment And Management)
System. This web application will offer TCSSC team captains
and their team mates and individual registrants many useful
features.
>
Why do I have to invite people to be on my team?
In order for your team mates to be able to see their schedules,
their must be invited to join your team. If you do not do
this, they won't be able to see where and when they are playing.
Additionally, TCSSC Policy dictates
that captains must be provide us with their players' information.
The TEAM System keeps the management away from the captain (all
you have to do is send the invites from the TEAM Builder).
The waiver is also incorporated into this process: you will now
know that if a player is listed on your team they have approved
the waiver and are therefore eligible.

Problems accepting an invitation to join a team?
- Make sure that you do NOT click the link in the invitation email
(some email clients truncate the link): the safest thing to do is
--as per the e-mail's instructions-- copy and paste the invitation
link into a BRAND NEW browser window, especially if people are
working inside YAHOO, Hotmail etc. You should then be taken
to a screen where you are asked to accept or decline. Please choose
accept, and the follow the procedure (which may involve setting up
a TCSSC user profile). You will then be added to the
person's team who sent you the invite. If you lost or
deleted the invitation, you can ask your captain to send it again.
- If you are not receiving the email invitation, spam filters may
be blocking it. The email subject is "TCS&SC Invitation" and
it will come from your captain's email address.
- If your work email gets blocked beyond your control, we suggest
using an alternative email account such as a home account or a
free web mail account like
Hotmail or
Yahoo.
- If someone on a team is having problems accepting the email,
the captain can send an invitation to him/herself and then
forward it to the person they are trying to invite.

> Adding new
people to your team roster
If you need to add people to your roster, you can go to your
profile, add the new persons name and email address, and just hit
save changes; the new person will receive the invitation email be
added to your roster.

> Resending invitations
If someone has lost or otherwise had problems, try resending all
of the invites. Simply click the check box at the
bottom left hand side of the Team Builder page and then click on
the save changes. Remaining people who have not accepted the
invite or brand new people will be emailed again. Once
someone has accepted the invite, they will be moved from the
invited list on the left to the team roster on the right.

> Deleting
people from your roster
This feature is not currently active in the TEAM Builder area but
will be soon. We will notify team captains when this occurs.

> Reporting Scores
As of the
Summer 2004 season, score reporting can now be completed by
captains or co-captains at their TCSSC user profile by logging

please follow the following steps:

link that says "Click here to go to your profile."
- Click on the
link in the schedule column that says "View" for the schedule
you wish to report a score for.

Score" option.
- Enter the

in gets to report the game score; the second team in only gets

THE SCORE BEFORE LEAVING THE PLAYING VENUE.

You must report

Please note:

- beach volleyball
scores should be reported to the beach convener on site.

>
Why does my profile say that my individual registration teams are
"unassigned"?
This is because the TCSSC has not put the roster together yet for
an upcoming season. This status of unassigned will change
once we have the season scheduled.
> I am not sure if I specified the right people to play with?
At this point, we ask individual registrants if there are people
they want to play with while creating their profile. At this
juncture, you can not go back and add or change these entries.
You can always email
info@tcssc.com with your requests of who you would like to
play with and we will do our best to try and make sure it happens.
